Senior Program Co-ordinator - Prevent Alcohol & Risk-Related Trauma in Youth (PARTY) Program, National Trauma Research Institute
Ms Janet McLeod is the Senior Program Co-ordinator for the Prevent Alcohol & Risk-Related Trauma in Youth (PARTY) Program at the National Trauma Research Institute. She is a Registered Nurse with over 14 years’ clinical experience in critical care working in both public and private hospital settings. Ms McLeod has worked in a variety of health promotion, wellbeing and education roles and has an extensive background in working with young people. She has also completed a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
As Senior Program Co-ordinator, Ms McLeod is responsible for overseeing all facets and operations of the PARTY program including content development, delivery and maintenance of key stakeholder relationships. For the past 5 years Ms McLeod has been particularly motivated to coordinate a program such as PARTY because it can contribute to reducing the numbers of young people attending emergency departments as victims of trauma.
